Service Delivery
This new program will open on the first day of the 2011-2012 school year – Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Our program at Bellmoore will operate from the beginning of September and will move to the new building when it opens in 2012! This program will be licensed to accommodate up to 20 JK/SK children and 15 school age children, between the ages of 6 and 12 years. (*To accommodate a number of children currently attending Mount Albion school, we will also operate a program for these children, which will also open on September 6th!)
Child care services are available from 7:30 am to 8:30 am each morning, and 2:50 pm to 6:00 pm each day. Our school age programs provide children with a balance of activities that promote healthy growth and development in all domains…gross and fine motor, speech and language, cognition, self-help skills, social and emotional development...at their own pace! Programs for School Age Children
Care for children who are 3.8 (3 years, 8 months) to 12 years of age
| Before & After School | Child care services are available from 7:30 am until the morning school bell rings at 8:30am, and again at the end of the day from 2:50pm when the dismissal bell rings until 6:00 pm. |
| PA Days | A full-day program is available for children on PA Days, too, as long as there is sufficient interest from families! |
Curriculum
Developmentally appropriate activities—indoors and outside, too—are planned and implemented based on the observations of qualified early childhood educators/experienced staff members. The interests of children guide educators in determining the wide range of resources required to extend learning, while promoting the development of new skills.
Snacks/Lunch
Children are provided with nutritious snacks each morning (before the school bell rings) and after school each day. Snack menus are posted on the Parent Information Board and are also available to parents through newsletters and this website.
On PA days children are required to bring a bag lunch from home, which is supplemented with milk and fresh fruit.
