Our organization proudly offers a wide range of services for children and their families.
Toddlers are our youngest group of learners ‘under the Umbrella’. Parents may enrol children at our Gordon Price and Templemead sites as soon as their child turns 18 months of age. Staff members working with toddlers know the importance of creating an environment that will nurture and stimulate the child’s interest and development, and the low teacher:child ratio makes it possible for educators to provide children with the attention and support they require to learn and grow!
Preschoolers are an interesting and inquisitive group of children. Parents may enrol children at most of our sites once the child is 2 ½ years. Attending a preschool program provides the child with a variety of activities and plenty of opportunity for social interaction with educators and peers. Attending a preschool program often prepares children for ‘big’ school….Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten!
JK/SK children still need a child care program for the time they are not in school. Since kindergarten is a part-time program (1/2 days every day or full days on alternate days), parents typically appreciate the benefit of ‘one-stop shopping’….child care and education ‘under one roof’.
School Age children often require care first thing in the morning and then again later in the day when school is dismissed. The availability of a before and after school program in the same school building is a benefit for both children and their families. Children have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities each morning and afternoon, under the supervision of qualified/experienced staff members, and everyone appreciates a ‘seamless’ day!
