Nneka Onwualu is our Communications and Marketing Specialist. She is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing communications and marketing strategies for the organization, both internally and externally. Nneka also oversees our social media, website design, and branding.

With an M.A. in English from McMaster University, Nneka has led successful communications and marketing campaigns across corporate, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors, demonstrating adaptability, strategic vision, and a results-driven approach. Her background as a writer and editor brings the power of storytelling to Umbrella Family, fostering authentic connections, inspiring engagement, and building lasting relationships with our staff, partners, and the families and children in our care.
