Lois Saunders, RECE has a lengthy career primarily focused on community strategies to support quality early learning and care. Lois has approached this work through building and nurturing relationships for co-learning and reflective practice.  Mentoring others has been her professional “heart work” in ECE.  Through this work and related program mentorship, Lois has had a long-term connection with, and steadfast interest in, Umbrella Family and Child Centres.

As a life-long resident in Hamilton’s Village of Ancaster, proud mother of three and Grandma to eight amazing children, I am pleased to serve on Umbrella Family’s Board of Directors.
